Relic Entertainment will be hosting a special developer session at EGX Rezzed next Friday where the studio plans to talk about future plans for the Company of Heroes franchise.
EGX Rezzed (which is run by Gamer Network, Eurogamer.net’s publisher) takes place at the NEC in Birmingham from Friday 28th to Sunday 30th March. Relic’s developer session is at 3pm GMT on the Friday and will also be broadcast live on Eurogamer.net.
According to the studio, executive producer Greg Wilson and game director Quinn Duffy will be on stage to talk about the history of Relic and “release the first details of the next phase of Company of Heroes 2”.
The Relic presentation is the latest addition to a packed developer session schedule at EGX Rezzed. Other highlights on the Friday include DayZ’s Dean Hall and Volume developer Mike Bithell, while Saturday features Alien: Isolation and Dreamfall Chapters sessions and Sunday promises a chance to see Dean Hall and the Project Zomboid developers talk zombies before the Creative Assembly Game Jam judging session later on.
That’s on top of a show floor full of playable games, including the world’s first opportunity to play Alien: Isolation.
More details are available on the What’s On page of the EGX Rezzed website, where tickets are on sale for the show. The final developer session line-up, filling in the last remaining blanks, will be announced at the start of next week.
Are you coming to EGX Rezzed? Plenty of the Eurogamer team will be floating around helping out with the sessions, interviewing developers and (most likely) losing badly at multiplayer games on the show floor, so do say hello.
